Our research has shown that a significant proportion of companies have concerns about hiring a designer or design agency. Some don’t know what to expect, some worry it is going to be a painful or drawn-out affair and there are those with concerns that they might not get what they want, or won’t like the results. We understand these concerns, and we try to address them head-on:
We communicate clearly with our clients at all stages of their project, so they know what to expect
We are strong advocates of ‘Under-promise and over-deliver’. We don’t make bold claims we can’t live up to so our clients aren’t left ‘high and dry’
We give indications of approximate timelines, but always ensure the client knows that their response times will affect any proposed project milestones – it is a collaborative journey after all
We provide a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee with every project, so that the client has no risk in asking us to help them
We want our customers and prospects to feel totally confident in hiring us and that is why we strive to be known as much for our honesty, integrity and client-focussed approach as our creative output. More than anything else, we seek to treat every client project as if it was our own, and provide the best service and creative for every client, every time. Our aim is to go the extra mile and make our customers feel we’ve treated their project as if it was the only one we were working on.
Building confidence, one customer at a time
There is no such thing as “that’ll do” in a Pixooma job, no creative process that is halted purely because the allotted time has elapsed, no meeting that is curtailed because we only allowed one hour in our estimates, and no ideas are left unexplored if we think they are worth investigating, whether or not we have exceeded the time estimates we used for our fixed-price quote (and we never add on nasty surprise extras at the billing stage either).
And this approach is not limited to those higher value projects: whatever the cost large or small: no concepts, no proofs or final artwork are released to the client until we are 100% satisfied that we have done all we can to produce the best possible product. For Pixooma there can be no “good enough”. Some will think us mad, but this is the ultimate expression of putting yourself in your client’s shoes and may explain why we are in the top three for customer excellence in the UK as a creative agency (based on Google 5* reviews).
Even though our survey has demonstrated that among those companies that hire graphic designers 75% are really satisfied with the results, that still means there is still clearly work to be done. Our project with developers Angled Crown helped their client feel confident in using graphic designers again and you can read more about our Daniel Newman Project here.
