Enhance your project

organisation and

collaboration!

Whether it’s a complex piece of work or a large team of people that need managing, sometimes we all need a bit of extra help to get organised, so a project stays on track. And whilst there’s nothing wrong with a pen and some post-it notes, sometimes, it’s good to have other options.

There are a wealth of online apps available to help you to improve your task management. We’ve tried a few and can thoroughly recommend Trello – its logical, straightforward, adaptable and has a great visual overview of what is being worked on and by whom.

Trello

Trello is a simple board and card system which operates in real-time. Boards are where projects get organised and are made up of lists and cards. They give everyone a shared perspective on the work getting done and what still needs to get done. Lists often represent a workflow or process. Cards are more like tasks and can have comments or files attached to them. They can be easily moved across these lists, from 'to do' and 'in progress' to 'completion' (and you can call the lists whatever you like).

Free, but with limitations

Another great feature is its pricing. It’s free up to a certain level of complexity and storage. But then their Business Class offering at $9.99 per user per month can take you further with more features and automated benefits.

Full integration with other apps

Another great feature is that it integrates with other apps including Toggl which we've used to break down our hours by projects, clients and tasks to see what’s making money and perhaps more importantly what’s not!

Not just for projects

Trello doesn’t even have to be used for work; you could also use it for:

General daily organisation

Planning a holiday

Organising a special occasion, like an event, party or wedding
