What’s the difference
between branding
and sales?

Branding and sales are two quite different processes. Whilst they may have overlapping goals, they should not be confused with one another.
Essentially branding (part of the marketing process) helps people find the product or service they are looking for, building loyalty along the way, whilst sales focuses on converting a lead into a customer and is easier to monitor and track.

Branding is a long-term, continuous strategy that encompasses every aspect of your business operations – it’s really all about perception, feelings and emotions. Sales on the other hand is about solving a client's issue and focusses more on the numbers, it also can be more of a defined timeline with a definite start and end date.
