How does POP work?
POP couldn't be simpler. You simply pay an all-inclusive monthly fee, based on the plan you choose, which gives you a number of page credits to use as you need each month. Receive a fresh batch of design credits every month, and use them for any design project you need. Simple, fast, and no long-term commitment
Simply brief each project as you would normally and we'll work with you to complete the design to your satisfaction. All pages we design will then be deducted from your current page allowance.

- For every month your subscription stays active, we'll provide you with the page credits defined in your POP plan for you to use during the month.
- Each page credit remains active until the next subscription payment date, at which point your page credits are refreshed based on the POP plan you are on.
- Each time you brief in a project, the relevant number of page credits is deducted from your monthly allowance. You don't have to ensure projects are completed in the same month as they are briefed in, so no additional page credits will be deducted in future months for those pages already briefed in.
What does a POP Page Credit include?
It doesn't matter whether we're amending or developing existing artwork, or designing it completely from scratch; we'll only ever deduct one page credit from your balance for each page we work on. And each page credit used from your balance includes all the amendments required to get it approved, as well as charts, graphs and simple infographics on the page, and even stock image searches.
POP truly is an all-inclusive subscription as it includes all the following
- Initial discovery call (via Teams) to ensure you get the package that fits your needs.
- All page-based graphic projects (see 'What counts as a page' below)
- All design, artwork, and amendments needed for each page
- All stock image searches for each page

- Need more pages in one month? Not a problem, we'll add as many page credits as you need at the agreed rate in your subscription, so you always know what you are paying. The cost for these additional pages will be collected separately by Direct Debit as a one-off fee.

Cost
The costs for marketing campaigns and graphic design projects can be difficult to predict and make it difficult to plan. We'll give you three months' notice of any planned price increases, and we'll freeze the price of your subscription for the 12 months at an absolute minimum, so with POP, you know that every page-based design you need is covered.

Frequently asked questions
No, POP isn't a traditional retainer. Retainers would normally be based on a number of hours per month, and then you need rules around what happens if it is over- or underutilised, i.e. is there a facility to take hours from a following month if that month’s allocation is exceeded, or rollover if it is underused? This is unwieldy and unnecessarily complicated.
POP is different. It's a monthly allocation of pages to use as you need. Each month the subscription stays active we'll refresh your page credits (as defined in your plan).
We then simply deduct a page from your available allocation each time we start work on a page for you.

Yes. ALL amendments required to complete any project page(s) in a POP subscription are included in your monthly fee.
Yes, POP includes any stock image searches that we need to do for your projects and includes licensing any 'Standard' Adobe Stock images chosen images to you for your project that are needed within the page(s) we are working on for you.
We use Adobe Stock as our library of choice, but we can also search any stock library if you have a preference. However, the licensing of 'Premium' or 'Editorial' images from Adobe stock, and those from any other stock library, is not included and can be charged separately if necessary
POP is one simple monthly payment, made in advance and paid via Direct Debit.
You have access to all project files that we create for you as part of POP, including the original artwork 'construction' files should you want them (Indesign, Illustrator and layered Photoshop files etc)
No this is similar to the arrangement you'd get with any freelancer or agency working on graphic design projects for you remotely - except that there are no quotes to be approved, no extra fees for new concepts or amendments – it's all included under your single monthly payment.
We'll work on your projects for you until you are 100% satisfied, and you get it all for a fixed fee.
If you need someone on-site then POP is not for you. If, however, you'd like all the benefits of a typical creative agency, but without any of the worries about potential cost increases, then POP could be a good solution, and we'd like to talk to you.
No problem. We simply use your feedback (even negative feedback is useful) to create a new concept from scratch that's much closer to your needs, and a better starting point for the project.
And don't worry, if we do need to start again (which is very unusual), there is no additional cost to you. All concepts and amendments are included under POP for each page we work on for you.
This is not an automated, faceless service, you get all the benefits of a traditional agency relationship, and can talk to actual human beings.
You're free to call us to talk about what you need, email us, or request a Teams call so you can share your screen whenever you need to. In fact, your subscription includes as many Teams update calls as you need, in order to discuss the ongoing work, key priorities, and to offer feedback.
if you find yourself using more than you had expected, you can either pay for one-off additional pages at the standard rate indicated in your subscription, or upgrade your subscription for a month or more to get a greater allocation of pages.
No problem, you can cancel anytime. All POP subscriptions are paid monthly in advance so if you cancel then no future payments will be taken, and we'll complete any page designs that are in progress.
If you have unused allocation then you have 30 days from your final payment date to use them up. After this time unused pages are forfeited.
If you cancel and have had more pages designed than you've paid for to that point, all additional pages will be chargeable at the standard rate per page as indicated on your subscription plan via a one-off payment collected via Direct Debit
Naturally, we will need to increase the price of your subscription from time to time, but we will give you three months' advance notice for any price increase.
Additionally, we'll freeze your subscription rate for the first 12 months of any new subscription so you can budget easily.
No, as long as you have enough pages in your current allocation, individual projects can be as large as you like.
Should you need more pages than you have in your current allocation, you can pay for additional pages at the standard rate, or upgrade your subscription to get a greater allowance.
You can pause, cancel, upgrade or downgrade your subscription whenever you like, as long as you haven't already made a change that month already. Upgrade/Downgrade changes are limited to one per month.
Each page you are allocated as part of your subscription is an all-inclusive price. That means it includes any design and layout work we do on that page, any amendments that are required, any stock image searches and also any simple charts, graphs and graphics required for that page.
So it doesn't matter how much work is required for each page, as long as it's within the scope of POP, the cost is only ever one page deducted from your allocation.
This means that for some very simple changes for a page, we may elect (at our discretion if we feel it is fair to do so) to deduct less than a full page from your allocation, or not deduct a page at all.
No, your monthly credits are valid for that specific billing period. This allows us to keep the admin burden to a minimum, and our pricing simple.
No, but you can upgrade to the next POP subscription tier, or you can purchase additional page credits for that month, at the standard rate indicated in your subscription.
Given the wide scope of project types covered by your POP subscription, we can't give an average project time, but we can advise you on a project by project basis each time you book one in.
We'll always respond as quickly as we can to any requests, and often within the same day, but we reserve the right to allow up to 48 hours maximum for some requests (Pixooma Office Hours GMT).
