We are not into self-congratulation. That’s not really our bag. But we are pleased to tell you that we have now shared a whopping 50 design tips with you.

Increasing your understanding

Several years ago, we decided we wanted to provide no nonsense help and support to clients, suppliers and colleagues. One of the ways we went about this was to write and share monthly tips. This was to enable you to understand more about design and learn something new.

Also, if you applied the tips correctly, either yourself or using a designer, it would result in professionally designed graphics capable of creating a positive impression and effective communication of your message to your target audience. This in time would help to build trust, credibility and loyalty in the minds of your customers.

So, after writing 50 glorious monthly tips, we want to ask you a favour. What have you learnt? Is there one particular tip you have enjoyed, or remember, that has proved to be useful?

Tonnes of topics

In our 50 design tips, we have covered a diverse range of topics. These include images, bleed, white space, pantone colours, using ‘Lorem Ipsum’, fonts, resolution, file types, logos, layouts, brand guidelines, planning, creative briefs, websites (CMS), capitalisation, proofing, video conferencing backgrounds, exhibition graphics etc.

In fact, we’ve tackled a whole host of insightful subjects to give you the knowledge you need to make your life easier, when it comes to understanding and appreciating what goes into creating beautiful and innovative design. And whilst we have enjoyed writing them, what we really want to know is whether you have enjoyed reading them?

What have you learnt?

So, after writing 50 glorious monthly tips, we want to ask you a favour. What have you learnt? Is there one particular tip you have enjoyed, or remember, that has proved to be useful?

If so, it would be good if you could let us know on our social media channels, by simply using the following hashtag #pixoomadesigntip50 and then adding another word which relates to your choice i.e., #pixoomadesigntip50/fonts. Or if you need to refresh your mind, visit our website and have a re-read of our design tips and then let us know.

Highlight you and your business

Once we have your feedback, we will sort through the comments and highlight them across our social media channels. We will include your name and the name of your business too, as a way of saying thank you for your continued support.

We look forward to hearing from you and of course, unless we hear otherwise, we will carry on writing more design tips, so you can continue to benefit from our graphic design knowledge and expertise.
