Creativity is an essential skill for designers. We’re a funny breed really, because we’re always striving for that perfect and imaginative new concept which will excite both our clients and their target audience in equal measures.

Invest in learning

With the speed of technology advancing, new channels appearing, useful apps and tools becoming available, at Pixooma we believe that to remain competitive and relevant, self-development is key. That’s why we:

Work with our coach Paul Green

Take advice from fellow professionals such as Vicky Boulton. Jacky Sherman, Julie Futcher, Nishi Patel and Elizabeth Wright

Listen to podcasts or webinars

Read books, white papers, articles or blogs

Attend networking and courses

Have frequent one-to-one meetings with other businesses

According to Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Knowledge is when you learn something new every day.”  And in our case, we owe it to our clients and ourselves to ensure we are receptive and able to take on the latest information, trends and thinking. This helps us to continue to offer the best and most relevant solution.

And we don’t just concentrate on the creative discipline, we chat with our suppliers, our clients and other business owners to look for better ways to do things from invoicing, filing and administration to keyboard shortcuts, apps and software.
