As an experienced and well-respected business coach in Northamptonshire, Paul Green has a wealth of valuable experience and useful contacts covering a range of business expertise. He was keen to reach a wider market and wanted to launch a brand new magazine with a strict business focus, but in terms of design, he was unsure of where to start.

We have been a trusted graphic design partner to Paul over many years and so he knew that we could help him give the project the strong brand and the creative appeal it needed in order to make its mark in a crowded marketplace. Other than the fact that the magazine needed to have a solid ‘Business to Business’ style Paul’s brief was very open because as his trusted creative partner he knew we could produce a design that met and exceeded his expectations, without the need for a detailed written specification.

The Advisor isn’t designed to look like a trade publication or limited run magazine, it is designed to look like it would fit right in with business-focussed and other retail magazines on a shelf in any newsagent or supermarket. It has clear, well-defined margins and column structure, a consistent style and font usage throughout and makes use of carefully selected images, avoiding the usual clichés.

The ‘Pre-launch’ edition has been exceptionally well received and we look forward to working with Paul again when the magazine’s first edition is published.
